Based on a true story with non-actors playing themselves, the film tells of a young cowboy and horse trainer who survives a serious rodeo accident. He attempts to return to his former life, in one scene the young man successfully trains a young horse that has never been touched by a human before – and this is filmed in real-time as it actually happened. His interactions with family and friends are shown as he struggles to find new purpose when this proves difficult.
Why we like it
This highly original film is beautifully filmed with stunning vistas of the landscape. It is intensely moving and the ‘performances’ by the non-actors are remarkable. Ivano and Maggie
